The Birth of Shrink
Founded in 2001 by Mick and Vix in order to realise some of the songs that Mick had written over the last few years. The combination of the two soon created the requirements for the rest of the band.
In stages they were joined by Kerry (sexy backing vox), Gow (wacking on his rhythm guitar), Smiffy (sultry, sex symbol of the band - bass), Adam (drums) and Vanessa (piano, backing vox and dirty Spanish speaking babe) and finally most recently Stu (Rhythm guitar) who now all contribute to the original Shrunken sound. When they say it will all come out in the wash, well this all came out Shrunk.
The driving force of the band is still Mick's creative output which is an intricate weave of ever growing experience and current thinking. All of the band whilst trying to capture what they do and what they are about in words here still believe that the live performance is the core of what they are about and what they believe in.
Mick's main influences are Led Zeppelin, Prince and most recently Keane.
